Update for Our Patients about Coronavirus COVID-19
Your safety and well-being as our patient is our top priority. We are sharing our updated care practices that will help reduce the spread of the coronavirus disease known as COVID-19, as well as identify and treat patients who may be infected.
These practices reflect the latest recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization and other experts.
-
If you feel ill and it is an emergency, call 911. Describe your symptoms, and provide any information you have about recent international travel or contact with someone known to have COVID-19. For more severe symptoms, such as higher fever and severe shortness of breath, you may be advised go to a clinic or the emergency department.
-
If you feel ill and it is NOT an emergency, call your primary or specialty care provider, or an urgent care center, and describe your symptoms over the phone before going to any of these locations.
-
If you have an appointment, we encourage you to keep it. We are operational and able to treat patients. However, if you are sick, and especially if you have a fever, a new dry cough or new shortness of breath, please call your provider’s office or clinic for advice and/or to reschedule your appointments.
-
If possible, please come alone to any appointments. Do not bring anyone unless you need assistance. Especially, do not bring anyone who has a cough, a fever, or shortness of breath.
We are here to help you.
