Pulmonary and Critical Care Specialties of Northern Virginia, P.C. was founded in 1978 as a two-person pulmonary and critical care practice devoted to providing skilled, comprehensive, and compassionate care to the residents of northern Virginia. Thirty-two years later the group has expanded to 13 practioners serving five communities based on these founding principles. We offer outpatient care in our five offices and well as hospital consultative care in the four facilities with which we are associated. Our university-trained physicians treat a wide range of pulmonary diseases such as asthma, chronic bronchitis, COPD/emphysema, lung cancer and pulmonary nodules. In addition, our five board-certified sleep specialists offer local expertise in a variety of sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, narcolepsy, insomnia, and restless legs syndrome as well as operating five sleep laboratories in the area to expedite diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. Our long-standing presence in the community has resulted in close relationships with other specialists to facilitate the care of our patients.
